Terms of Service.
Last updated: July 12, 2026
These terms govern your use of Pipeline, a personal recruiting tracker that I build and operate on my own. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to them. Throughout this document, "I", "me", and "my" refer to the individual who builds and operates Pipeline, and "you" refers to you as a user.
1.The service
Pipeline helps you organize a recruiting search - the firms you are pursuing, the people you talk to, your deadlines, and your progress. I offer it as a personal tool and may add to it, change it, or discontinue it over time. It is an early-stage product built and maintained by one person.
2.Eligibility and your account
You must be at least 13 years old and able to form a binding agreement to use Pipeline. You are responsible for your account and for keeping your sign-in credentials secure, whether you sign in with Google or with an email and password. Please let me know promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission.
3.Acceptable use
Please use Pipeline reasonably and lawfully. You agree not to:
- use the app for any unlawful purpose or to store unlawful content;
- attempt to access other users' data, or any account or system that is not yours;
- disrupt, overload, probe, or interfere with the app or its infrastructure;
- attempt to reverse-engineer, resell, or misuse the service; or
- upload content that infringes someone else's rights or that you do not have the right to store.
4.Your content
The information you enter into Pipeline - your firms, contacts, notes, and everything else - remains yours. You grant me only the permission needed to store, process, and display that information back to you so the app can function. You are responsible for the content you add and for having the right to store it. How I handle your data is described in the Privacy Policy.
5.No warranty
Pipeline is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. I do not guarantee that the app will run without interruption or error, that it will be secure, or that it will always be available or retain your data. You are responsible for keeping your own copies of anything important to you. To the fullest extent permitted by law, I disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
6.Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, I will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or opportunities, arising from or related to your use of (or inability to use) Pipeline. Because Pipeline is offered as a personal tool, my total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you have paid me for it, if any, in the twelve months before the claim.
7.Termination
You may stop using Pipeline at any time, and you can request deletion of your account and data as described in the Privacy Policy. I may suspend or end access to the app - for anyone or for a specific account - if these terms are violated, if it is necessary to protect the service or other users, or if I discontinue the app. Where reasonable, I will try to give notice before discontinuing the service.
8.Changes to these terms
I may update these terms from time to time. When I do, I will change the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of Pipeline after a change means you accept the updated terms.
9.Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Indiana, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules, and any dispute will be handled in the courts located there. Pipeline is operated from the United States and made available to users wherever they are; if you use it from elsewhere, you are responsible for complying with the laws that apply to you, and only use the app to the extent local law allows.
